EXPOSED: RFK Jr.’s NIH is still funding tests on beagles from the notorious Ridglan Farms puppy mill. Some of these puppies are being abused in “maximum pain” experiments. And after we exposed it, senior NIH officials tried to pressure us into silence. We have the receipts: Four NIH grants are still funding a University of Missouri lab that buys hundreds of beagle puppies from Ridglan. This lab shaves off their fur, glues capsules full of mutant ticks to their skin, and allows the ticks to bite them and infect them with deadly diseases. In many cases, this NIH-funded lab denies any pain relief to the beagles. And RFK Jr.’s NIH extended these experiments, handing the lab another $1.2 million in taxpayer funding. RFK Jr.’s NIH also approved $1.1 million in new funding to another University of Missouri dog lab that buys beagles from Ridglan and breeds them for cruel muscular dystrophy experiments. And NIH approved a new $2 million grant to a pharmaceutical lab on Kennedy’s watch to abuse 57 Ridglan beagles in experimental drug tests. In response to our investigations, senior officials under RFK Jr. have pressured our board members to shut down our criticism of the NIH, in apparent violation of federal ethics rules. They’ve also tried to censor and blacklist us. But the criticism is only getting louder—and it’s coming from across the political spectrum. Trump loyalist Laura Loomer and progressive Democrat Rep. Mark Pocan have both sounded the alarm about NIH funding for abusive testing on Ridglan puppies. This issue is not going away anytime soon, and neither are we. @LauraLoomer @RepMarkPocan
