@CrimeaArchivist I’ve always thought giving the answer to a problem in full was doing a disservice to the person. Like, sure, you’re “helping” this time, but they’re not really learning anything. I try to lean into sharing techniques for how to find the information.

I have adopted a light nudge pattern of "I think this can be better, have you tried X?" which sends the junior guys doing some light research, asking a few clarifying questions, and basically doing the intent without having it spelled out in full

@selentelechia I had no freaking idea until I brought it up to the husband and he was like “Maybe she thought you said ‘easy peasy Japanesey?’”
But I didn’t even know that was a THING until he said that.
It led me to spend the rest of my childhood weirdly terrified of uttering the phrase 😅
