The joy of Easter is still very much alive. Jesus has risen, and He is inviting us to live differently now — with new eyes, new hope, and a new freedom that only He can give. I scooped my daughter from school today & said we can do anything you want! -Puzzle. -Board games. -Eat some ice cream. "I WANT YOU TO GO ON BEAST GAMES DAD!!" We don't even have cable, Netflix, or any streaming except Prime so we could watch all season 1 & 2 together! Season 3 is battle of the countries & I hope to represent the USA 🇺🇸. It is almost impossible to overstate the importance of daily Scripture. Everything we read, we take into our ourselves. Everything we take into our ourselves changes us. The stone has been rolled away. Death has been defeated. The grave could not hold Him. He is risen. Jesus Christ who was crucified and buried has conquered death and risen in glory. Light has triumphed over darkness. Hope has triumphed over despair. Love has triumphed over sin. This is the greatest victory in all of history. On this Easter morning we rejoice with the whole Church and with Mary the Mother of the Risen Lord. The same Jesus who suffered and died now lives forever and He offers that new life to each of us. In the Militia of the Immaculata we celebrate this victory through Mary. She stood at the foot of the Cross and now rejoices at the empty tomb. On this Holy Thursday, Jesus sets aside His robes, kneels down, and washes the dusty feet of His disciples. The Lord of all creation bends low in humble service. With gentle hands and living water, He shows us what love truly looks like, not from above, but from below. This single act calls us deeper. It invites us to let go of pride and allow ourselves to be loved and cleansed so we can love others the same way. In the Militia of the Immaculata, we follow this path by placing our whole lives into Mary’s hands. She teaches us true humility and offers us completely to Jesus, just as He offered Himself for us. Lent keeps inviting the heart to become more open, more honest, and more ready for God’s work. Growth in this season does not always feel dramatic, but every prayer, every act of self denial, and every quiet yes to God makes the soul more available to grace. The Militia of the Immaculata exists to form people who do not waste these days, but allow Christ to shape them with purpose. A heart that stays open to grace will never leave Lent unchanged. Our Lady, keep my heart open today. Help me receive the grace You obtain for me, remain faithful in prayer, and follow your Son with greater trust. Shape my life into something fully available to God. Amen. In Loving Memory of WWII Veteran Bob Gibson (1923-2026) Bob Gibson passed away on Monday at the age of 102. Bob served during WWII as an M4 High Speed Tractor driver with the 116th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion. On June 6, 1944, Bob landed on Utah Beach in the early afternoon as part of the Allied invasion of Normandy. During the 79th Anniversary commemorations, Bob was awarded the French Legion of Honor at the Cabbage Patch ceremony in Carentan. He will be remembered for his trademark line that perfectly summed up his generation's sense of duty: "We did it for you people. So don't screw it up!" 📷 BestDefenseFoundation
