A favorite childhood book was “Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH.” The mice had to race time to move their home to the “lee of the stone” before the farmer came through with his plow… Good writing! What is you favorite book from childhood?

@haver_mc @YouTube I saw you on the Huberman Lab podcast, and it was fantastic. Thank you! I wish I could be on HRT, but I can't because of terrible migraines. Are there decent alternatives? I'm still in that window of time in my 50's...

My first attempt at fantasy/fiction under a pen name. Start at the bottom of the page. I wrote 600 words a day and weaved it into a story about a cat, a bewildered young woman, a merchant, and a well-dressed young man navigating within a Multiverse of Destiny. Enjoy

@lennysan @pmarca Human tutors are the motivational piece that AI still doesn't provide. The smile. The enthusiasm. The challenge. The tough love. Can AI or a robot do that yet? Will it be able to do that?

A book chronicling my Grandfather's journey of fearlessly fighting for worker's rights will be published in the near future! @hardballpress #Teamsters

@Teamsters My Grandfather was a member of the Committee of 100. “The bastards shot them!” he said as he drove onto the scene. Luckily my grandfather did not get shot. He got roughed up regularly, though. I proudly support Unions! #Teamsters

“When I woke up, I knew something was wrong. I felt sick, and my bedroom spun around uncontrollably when I opened my eyes. I felt nauseous and wanted to throw up. I had to get to the bathroom quickly. It was arduous to get myself out of bed because of the dizziness. I couldn’t pinpoint how to move my body within space. As the room spun around me, I somehow walked to the hallway, then fell on my knees and went the rest of the way on my hands and knees to the toilet in the bathroom. I never threw up, but the nausea was constant and sickening for days afterward. For nine months of my illness, I lost control of my ability to function at some of the basic levels that most people in society enjoy. At first, I could barely walk. I could only work slowly, and I couldn’t drive a car. I took control of what I could control: my healthcare and my exercise routine, and I changed how I worked. In this way, I could keep my voice as a college professor. I got help from friends and family to help me with the house, the shopping and doctor’s appointments. Slowly, I regained my health, but not without using my agency.” Excerpt from “Invisible: A Professional Mom’s Successful Pursuit to be Seen.” by Amy K. Schultz on Amazon
