@One4Funz525 @SamKuffelWx Most stations also tend to go to W2W coverage till the storms in general are gone, as it's easier to do that then to cut out every time there's no severe storms that meet criteria for 5 minutes before they issue a new one. This is protocol on all news stations, not just us.

@Ana_c0rN @SamKuffelWx So the 1.5 hours of local news telling us storms are coming isn't enough? You start at 4. We all knew to watch for storms. CBS58 should fight for a 6 o'clock local news then, like the others have?? Cutting in is different than constant coverage

On behalf of my former colleagues, do not call the newsroom and complain that Jeopardy isn't on. There's a destructive thunderstorm that's tornado warned heading for the metro. The lives of actual people are more important than a tv show.

@One4Funz525 @SamKuffelWx The FCC Mandates that when there's a Tornado Warning in the area, we must either activate the Emergency Alert System, go to Wall to Wall coverage, or go off the air. We are required to do one of them, and all of them people don't like. If you don't like it, talk to the FCC!
