I vividly remember the day I received the long awaiting email. It I was scrolling through my inbox when I noticed a message with the subject line: "Congratulations! You have been selected to attend the African World Heritage Forum" in Zimbabwe.

@LcPointe Very true! Those who are exposed to these sectors (e.g bankers, offshore/insurance/investment employees etc) are better off. Otherwise, the whole process is very tiresome. You have to do so much research, analysis and comparisons to make sound money/investment decisions.

What I wish we had in Seychelles are money coaches/financial advisors who can give advice based on local context. Where do we go to invest, how to invest, which life insurance is more beneficial, which banks' savings account has the most competitive rate...etc...?
