When I was in the military we all had what civilians would consider a ‘dark sense of humour’. When you consider the brutality of conflict, making so much of such an inconsequential thing will cause more stress to our warriors than the combat itself. It’s a concern that, as we close on ANZAC day, the MSM and our own Government are trying to cause more division and vilification of those we send into the worst situations imaginable. Shame.

To make it clearer, if there were 9300 cars on the entire planet and you were looking at the section of earth in your immediate sight, what is the chance that one of those cars spread over the entire planet would happen to come into your field of view. Now imagine that chance is a lot higher than space because the cars wouldn’t be over the ocean and it is only possible for the cars wouldn’t to be on a solid surface. When you go into space it becomes 3 dimensional. Satellites can be at different altitudes, there is no restrictions such as oceans would be to cars, and the ‘surface area’ is vastly bigger with each kilometre/mile you move away from the earth. 🤔🤷‍♂️

Imagine how large the earth’s surface is then extrapolate out. Our minds struggle to deal with the vastness but if a satellite is the size of a large 4wd and there are 9300 of them circling earth, the chance of one passing close enough to the space craft to be visible would be huge imho.
