The magnitude of influence he brought ranks him as one of the most important signings the clubs ever made. One of the best footballers I’ve seen in the shirt on a consistent basis. Incredible player, incredible leader. Feels like this symbolises the end of an era unfolding #NUFC
Newcastle United@NUFC

Thank you, Tripps 🖤🤍 After four and a half years of incredible service to Newcastle United, we can confirm that Kieran Trippier will leave the club this summer when his contract expires. Kieran arrived in January 2022 with the club in the relegation zone and played a crucial role as he went on to lift the club’s first domestic trophy in 70 years.

@MsiDouglas @ChrisDHWaugh Liverpool and Arsenal ground sponsors both include training kits too, don't they? If you think £3/4m is achievable for kit sponsors, then £10m combined per year is fairly impressive.

@Andaaii @ChrisDHWaugh It's weirdly worded, the Liverpool one. They signed a naming rights deal with AXA which was presumably big and then extended it in 2024.

As reported by @ChrisDHWaugh, figure is around £6m-a-year. Likes of Arsenal etc at around £15m-a-year for their facilities so shows the distance to travel. But it's a very good first deal and feather in the cap of CEO David Hopkinson. More to come, I understand
Mark Douglas@MsiDouglas

🚨 First of the deals David Hopkinson promised would boost #nufc commercial revenue announced this morning.... Training ground sponsorship inked with KNOX Hydrate, a drinks company. Training ground will be known as 'The Knox'. Firm take shirt sleeve sponsorship for women's, men's and Academy team. Deal could 'migrate' to new training ground. Announcement soon on that.

@NUFC7890 @CamNufc20 In what world? Liverpool's deal with AXA was worth less until the recent extension. That was for a state-of-the-art £50m training complex for one of the world's biggest clubs. We've just banked the same for Darsley Park ffs.

@CamNufc20 He’s done well to get 6 mil a year for a park in darlsey. You take advantage of how high your stock is though after a cup win and CL. Not after being 12th and conceding 9 goals in 2 games

Grim reality of Newcastle not maximising their highest ever stock after winning a cup and getting champions league. Hopkinson can only work with the cock he’s got.

@mumba88 His job is to put people in roles, to delegate and then review. If you think an owner of a company employs senior figures to take responsibilities, and then spends time to interfere then you’ve no idea how it works. Those in their roles failed, YAR reviewed and acted, end of.

@mumba88 Decisions and actions of a company are made by CEO’s, in this case, our acting CEO’s were part owners. PIF acted to get rid because of their failings. You’re misguided if you think any blame lies elsewhere.

@RichySouthern It's farming monetized interactions. There's a reason why those who scream the most and loudest don't write or work for anybody. No articles, no stations, just exploiting fan-run pages with chunky followings to gain personal traction. It's shameless and easy to see through.

All these constant links to NUFC players at the minute just show how murky the transfer space has become. Half of it isn’t genuine movement, it’s accounts watching each other, lifting info, rewording it, then adding a bit of spin to make it sound like something’s developing. Suddenly it’s “interest growing” or “talks expected” when nothing’s actually changed. A lot of it clearly isn’t being checked properly with clubs either. It’s aggregation dressed up as reporting, pushed out at volume because that’s what gets traction. When you’ve got accounts the size of Romano and Ornstein feeding that cycle, it snowballs. Agents know the game, they drip stories in because of the reach, and it creates this constant noise around players whether there’s anything real in it or not. Meanwhile the journalists who actually verify things properly get drowned out by speed and repetition. It might be clever in terms of engagement, but it’s made the whole thing harder to trust and a lot harder for proper journalism to cut through.

@Keithr10 Haway Keith, I’m far from Howe out and would never call for it, but the shape and approach last 20 minutes alone was scattergun to be polite. The kick off to start the second half was bizarre enough. The whole thing is disjointed

Keith Robertson 🤦🏻‍♂️
Every easy option is to stare Howe is at fault, not sure his game plan was to be weak as fuck and lack desire. This is on the players, cowards to a man. Need to look at themselves and realise they’ve let us and the manager down….

@MsiDouglas @ChampionsLeague 1 in 1 out for PSR? I'm sorry, but where is that coming from? We have a net spend of around £80m over the last 3 years as of July. Utter bollocks to spin this PSR warning when the same outlets reported we wouldn't spend in Jan to rocket load our summer. Ridiculous.

Chelsea fans are understandably delighted with the PL punishment while fans of the majority of clubs just see it as further proof that the competition is effectively rigged. In a PSR/SCR era, Chelsea continue to benefit from the success the players in question contributed to.

Signing Hazard, Ramires, David Luiz, Andre Schurrle, Matic, Eto’o & Willian and only getting a £10m fine & a suspended transfer ban. WORTH IT.

Get rid of VAR. I can accept decisions like that in real time, within reason, but the fact you have 3/4 little virgins sat in a room to replay it from every angle, with the power to correct, and still get it wrong is beyond a joke. It’s every game, incompetent wankers. #NUFC

@Im_RobM Agent needs to shut up either way, but I read that slightly differently and the answer didn’t make sense to the question 😂. Initial interpretation was his goal was to come to England and become a star player within the league, which he has done, and is proven by links to teams

@NUFC360 Can understand this to an extent, but I'd argue he was a lot more effective over 65/70 mins than he is over 90 now. He's nowhere near as much of a willing runner &, in turn, a lot less direct. Some peak at a young age thanks to that naivety unlocking the best from their ability.

@CraigHope_DM If Woltemade is the problem, then can you give an explanation as to why 0 of the 4 players we've tried in that position have excelled this season? Maybe as to why Isak only scored in 6 of his last 16 in B&W? Do better. There's always a good defence to be proud of.. Ah, hang on.

@NUFC_Oscar86_ Exactly, the witch hunt from media and what feels the majority of fans is pathetic, and frustration taken out on the wrong person. I fully support Howe but his unwillingness to change is starting to look like he’s incapable of adapting or evolving his side.

It’s actually unhealthy how obsessed he is with Woltemade. Just face it ffs, he’s been absolutely shite just like the rest of them. Up front he’s ineffective and in midfield the games just pass him by. This poor Woltemade stuff is absolutely ridiculous.
True Geordie@TrueGeordieTG

The amount of shite that’s been said about Newcastle the last month is mind blowing. Scapegoating Woltemade, praising Gordon and most of all the deflecting blame away from Eddie Howe. All of it is getting exposed in today’s video for the absolute bollocks that it is. #NUFC
