@jonahblake Royalties is great if you keep it low. The standard 10% is too much friction making people go for P2P gifting instead. Somewhere around 2% would make sense.

@AndersMega That’s just web2 which is fine. But that comes with extensive live service. The idea is that royalties provide more financing to build the live service game. They should be releasing new skins and operators anyway. Its not like Royalties will matter if they stop building.

If game devs do not get royalties from game NFTs in web3 I don’t see a world where web3 gaming will exist. Devs are taking a high risk and reward approach to building in web3. Many are capable in web2 already. I highly suggest players honor royalties if they want web3 gaming…

Before I was making Web3 gaming content. I started a replica firearm (Airsoft) business. My store specialized in exotic race gun replicas, and I got to build and shoot a lot of really cool guns. I hope to use my experience to design some skins for Web3 games in the future. ❤️‍🔥
