Hey @AndersenWindows @glazingblogger @ThisOldHouse Quick question: My friend has a single hung window that won't stay open anymore, the bottom sash just slides back down. Is that usually a failed balance spring or something that can be adjusted/reset? Or is this a bigger fix.. Seems like the balance just isn't there anymore.. Honestly I'm just tired of hearing him complain about his window! Any help appreciated, he posts about it constantly.

@AndersenWindows dear anderson, your windows have brought me nothing but pain and hardship. (5) five times i had @RbACorp out to try and fix. And each time they patch it for a short time and then they leak. Air tight seal never happens, even on non-opening windows. Please help

@AndersenWindows All I want is to replace one broken Anderson window. We all know that the quality of window is very weak. These are very thin as compared to other companies in the market.

@AndersenWindows Any reason why they are not replying to my or HomeDepot emails? You also know sorry doesn't help with broken glass window in this cold weather. Who is going to be responsible for that?

@AndersenWindows I already tried this contact number several times. Even HomeDepot tried to help me thru phone/email but you guys are not replying. HomeDepot also lost hope and said that they will give me discount for windows from other companies as compensation to this inconvenience.

@AndersenWindows Don't buy windows from Anderson. Seems they are going out of business and not providing any maintenance or support. I have trying to get from last one year but no luck.

Just spent over an hour trying to get @HomeDepot to get me a replacement for a door from @AndersenWindows that was damaged in transit. Best possible timeline is 2/20. No help from customer service. I apparently just have to wait longer for a door I paid over $600 for.

@moonbabi9 All of the Anderson windows we've installed within the past 12 years have started falling 🙄 You can always tell because they get cloudy and stained looking

An unsolicited salesman came to my door today at 11:45 Sunday. I did not answer 👀watched him leave. He only came to my house. It's -11 out whiteout blizzard! He left a Renewal by Anderson Windows sticky note! Door to door is a weird tactic now.

Had Anderson Window come out and look at an exterior door that looked like it was warped. $13,000 estimate. But a friend said I should have a handyman come over and see if he could re-shim the hinges. He did that today. $75. Don’t need a new door anymore.

@AndersenWindows I have Andersen windows and still have a warranty on them but Andersen will not honor it. Been dealing with a broken seal for 2 years.

X Fam, outside of replacement what is the best solution to prevent the loosening of these @AndersenWindows door handles. We have 3 different doors with these handles, and every single one of them does this. At least 1x/mon, I have to re-tighten the set screws.
