If young guy on the come up -
25-35 year old, making $150-300k
The S Class seems like the obvious choice
Borrowing credibility and professional aura
Its screams “professional” over hothead maybe like the BMW M3 or Corvette
Grab one 3-5y old, less than 50k miles
Avoid the brunt of deprecation
Super safe and reliable engines
If you take care of it and ur not driving 100 miles a day you can baby these engines to 150k miles with normal maintenance costs
Purchase from 55-65y non smoker that babied that thing going under speed limit with no reported accidents or damage

There is only one city in the United States that doesn't grow north - Minneapolis-St. Paul, restricted by geography. Every other city in the country grows north. That's the framework Rex Glendenning has been using for 40 years to position himself in front of growth. People in Celina laughed at him 30 years ago for buying dirt in the boondocks. He plowed every dollar after taxes and overhead back into 40 and 50-acre tracts anyway. In this clip from this week's episode - the rule of thumb Rex says should be on the first page of every real estate book.

I’ve always opposed EV mandates, rejected the idea that EVs will save the world, and preferred traditional engines for vehicles like the F-150 I used to drive.
That said, it’s clear that Teslas are absolutely top-notch products. It’s not hard to see how they’ve developed a dedicated following.

@jeremyct Doesn’t seem right. 90s - 20s is 30 years. He paid it off recently. $8000 is real estate taxes at the US avg of 1% of a $800,000 house. He’s not poor. He’s terrible at budgeting.

my dad called me today stressed about property taxes.
he’s 76, retired, and living on social security.
been in the same house since the early 90s. mortgage paid off years ago.
now his property taxes jumped from around $6,500 to over $8k.
imagine spending your whole life paying off a home… and still being one tax bill away from losing it.
that doesn’t sit right with me.
