@lingodotdev "AI" turtles are literally regurgitating StackOverflow and Reddit spaghetti with a nicer plate, but don't really create or imagine nothing. Pattern recognition, probabilities and serving from what it had for dinner like real content: human Q&A + docs + articles.

WTF with the new #Twitter trend of engagement baiting with random short phrases like: - Tailwind is a Framework - React is not a Framework - React is faster than Javascript Just saw a tweet saying that X is turning into Reddit, and I start to believe it. Sad.

@icanvardar @thevdm_ Oh. On the answers quality ...at some point all AI sucks! None of them are "Intelligent" and regurgitate old, deprecated and sometime dubious content it trained on. You never really know where it comes from. It's not me, it was the AI head or something at Oxford saying it!

@icanvardar @thevdm_ The real difference is when you use it as a search engine, with bookmarks called Spaces that let you find back thematic searches you did. Plus, instead of just "an answer" it gives you back clickable sources it used, videos, context, related complementary searches, etc. Unique.

@iamsahaj_xyz It does not beat borderless tables and .jpg slices as a design, SpaceJam-like! 😁

@jordwalke Spoiler alert: New generations are cheating as a default setting in life, if no parental firewall present. Meanwhile, many "parents" are almost into TikTok'ers mentality. Welcome into the Brave New World ;)

@nikitabier Circa 1995, first connection, Netscape browser popup "You received a Cookie" ...me thinking: Hmm, ok, nice. At the top of a page, an ad banner saying "Click Here!" ...of course I clicked :) Dialup modem 28.8kb! You click a link and go grab a beer. You can't imagine the "speed"

When out of boredom you type a generic "WebDesign Trends 2025" and that French Blog hit you with "2. Dark Mode" ...2025!

@ChShersh It's not about Devs/Designers not accepting that fact, but the clients not being aware of it! An old, old, topic.

Software Engineers are not paid for writing code. They’re paid for solving problems. The faster you accept this, the better your life and career will be.

#CSS might be in the process of becoming bloated, and losing it's identity while trying to morph into SASS and JS'ish programming features instead of just fixing some few weird parts. Almost no more Designers but JS devs using Chad/TW for React components while hating on CSS.

@_devJNS If some more hours are spent learning new stuff, reviewing other people's code, go outside and refresh your mind, experimenting random side projects, ...can indeed be an alternative to the "hamster in the wheel" trap cycle.
