@Psychologicsal This is an aspect that constantly gets overlooked. The DWP ‘change of circumstances’ criteria trawls a wide net that people will get caught up in…

All it takes is for your existing #UC claim to suffer a significant change in circumstances to have you pegged as a "new claimant" & in receipt of the lower rate. Currently I receive #TransitionalProtection. How anyone can manage without it is beyoond me.

Unifersal Credit: strict new assessment criteria will see seriously ill disabled people get lower initial payments if their conditions (including Parkinsons and Multiple sclerosis) may someday "hypothetically improve". theguardian.com/politics/2026/…

@GamewithDave The Pokémon trading card game. It was one of the first games I was able to play on the pc. Didn't have a clue what I was doing most of the time just clicking buttons and hoping I'd win, but I tried.

For those who used a computer between 1995 and 2001, what's the computer game from that time that sticks with you the most, and why?

@Jon_proctor_Esq @ConstableChaos Had a first responder bttching at me that I was probably just having a panic attack. 111 didn't need to send them etc. they then talked to me, did the checks. Yeah na sinus tachycardia whooping my ass for zero reason. Saw My gp that Monday morning, she almost shat a brick.

@ConstableChaos Ask any paramedic what they think of 111 and they will tell you - the triage system they use is nearly always going to send you up to A and E and more than half the time will ask to dispatch an ambulance the 111 system needs urgent and head to toe reform

@ConstableChaos I get a mix. Often times they'll get the local a&e or minor injuries to call me. But I've had out of hours appointments, ambulances and such. Just depends. - I can't exactly travel at night so it's often easier for them to send a first responder as bttchy as they are about 111.

Note all other routine appointments are currently filled for the week if not further ahead. She gave up with the additional information just so I could get an appointment. Cause she can literally hear how much pain I'm in (she commented on it).. admittedly it's am I'm always sore

We now have physio appointments available to be booked via the GP. Cool right? Except the emergency ones are open to the entire area. 7 appointments. 8am opening. Free for all. GP receptionist had two appointments disappear (booked) while she was typing in my injury details. 🤔

@notnormal_olein My husband recently got the snack boxes for his bday. Was heroes and dairy milk. They're different from the big bars. And honestly they're awful... I didn't know they'd changed anything til we tried them and I was disliking every single one...

@ick_real Generally I'm going outside maybe once a week, two if I'm lucky. Often times I'll also require assistance, so no independence. Which is the hard part for me. At home im not really fussed staying here, but at times yeah it gets to me especially over the 2weeks mark. Winter sucks

@ick_real Staying home is a luxury, most people don’t stay home because they have to go to their slave job - or they hate their wife. (Miserable relationships) - You still gotta go on walks/jogs daily tho.

@PurpyNFL We had to choose between buying an oven, or using the space for the tumble dryer we already had. So we just bought a slightly larger air fryer. Works well for us. We have a table top induction hob too. Works for us.

@LiLa__lee18 We don't have room for a normal oven in our kitchen, so it's an air fryer or an air fryer.

@ThePOTSPostman I am already on a nerve pain medication which does help as well of course. But the break through nerve pains and internal shakes I managed with CBD oil. No thc, at all as it's illegal here. But CBD oil is fine here.

@ThePOTSPostman Not health advice or anything. But I find for me specifically z CBD oil, helps my internal shakes. Admittedly CBD helps my nerve pain in general, I can be in absolute agony with nerve pain and I can take CBD oil under the tongue (2000mg) and it'll settle me down.

@InsaneMistress My left tmj locked up about a month ago, I called my GP to ask if they'd help, my ms team to let them know and I got an emergency appointment from my dentist. The dentist had a good push and pull and prescribed diazepam, even liased with another dentist and bumped up dosage 😂

@MissAlly_01 I'll tell my wheat allergy I've had since I was born...in the 90s it was too early for the "trend" shall I? I'll tell my friends mum who has coeliac and is in her 60s that she was too early as well, and the the NHS provides her safe foods for no reason? What are you on about.

My body is a dick...I used to like shrimp and banana foam sweets. Then last time I had a reaction. And we found out the banana flavouring has alcohol... My body does not react well with that... Today I made the same mistake...so now I'm wheezy coughing. Well Fuck...

Being woke up from a dead sleep to Jehovah's witnesses at the door. I was clearly struggling. One of them was genuinely concerned, the other was right in there with their pitch. Even when I said I don't get out. The other person asking if I need any help. 😳 Deer in headlights.

@AndiPandyBee Lol, I service my chair every couple of weeks, fortunately I'm a good tinkerer. I carry a taxi number for a firm I know can fit my chair & Batec in, and also the numbers for all my family (who live locally) written down just in case my phone fails and I can't remember them 😂
