After decades of abusing free speech during its long march through institutions, it’s remarkable that anyone would grant the Left moral or legitimate authority on the issue. This doesn’t mean others should abuse free speech, but rather that the Left’s claims should be seen as insecure and manipulative attempts to retain power — in order to continue its march.

Hope this small list gives you a start. I'm sure others reading this will have their own suggestions and I hope they add them. Parting the Waters is a classic. I believe the author is kind of woke today but this was written in 1988 or so and it can be read to have a comprehensive understanding of the King civil rights movement up to JFK's death. amazon.com/Parting-Waters… Down to the Crossroads. This is a more recent book about the Civil Rights era that I enjoyed. In many ways, it shows the end of that era and the beginning of the black power identity politics era -- many conflicting forces at play on how to move forward. amazon.com/Down-Crossroad… God's Long Summer I have not read this one but a friend of mine recommended it -- a view of the movement through God. The wife probably didn't hear the stories that a Soldier can be counseled and/or reprimanded for things their dependents do. At a minimum the CoC should bring him in and have him retake his oath of office and review his social media for any violations. The CoC with the Garrison could find that the Spouse should not be allowed on base if they fund her behavior could be a disruption to Army operations on the base. @SecArmy @SecWar @DOWResponse
