@EmileCole93 @GrfineAmerican I don't. It's gonna burn worse than OW2 and Rocket Racing. RL doesn't need a sequel, it's not going to bring in new players. Putting RL inside another game is disrespectful. It's being treated like it's a minigame to FN. If it happens, I can't see RL Esports lasting the decade.

I don't bring up politics often but these last 24 hours leave me embarrassed to be an American. First, our president interferes with an international conviction of 2 accused sex traffickers to release them and bring them back to the United States. Then, the very next day, Zelensky visits to make his case at the Oval Office, only for Trump and Vance to spew some of the most asinine, Russia-loving BULLSHIT I've ever heard. What happened to giving a shit about global representation? Why is the US okay with losing literally all of its global influence and power so that we can cuddle up to a Russian dictator? I stand with Ukraine, the fact the US is willing to side with sex traffickers over its own allies who are under siege is an embarrassment and this country should be ashamed for putting these people in charge.

@sebdot @Speed_RL Kinda cherrypicking stats when stating "Joreuz couldn't get Top 4 in NA" when we all saw that they went unbeaten in Swiss (Top 2) three times. He consistently showed the potential to do it, and was straight up unlucky not to.

Alright hell nah. I refuse to believe that NA is getting clowned on for Speed making Top 4. Joreuz couldn't make a single top 4 in NA then suddenly did it in EU, same with Nass. Team EVO are a great team with insane fundamentals. Give @Speed_RL his flowers dammit.

My point is the opposite, that it's abnormal for top players to miss A-Tier LAN tournaments.

@AndiiRL @yawnny7 @NoxesRL Turbo didn't play in 2019, and jstn didn't play in 2018. Getting back on topic, my point is that not playing in off season tournaments is normal in RL and I dont know why people are making a big deal of dan, atomic, and FK not wanting to play.

I don’t want to make any assumptions as to why the initial team dropped out. But if it was because “the prize pool is too low” or “I don’t feel like traveling”. We really need to get our shit together. Being able to represent your country for any type of event is something only a lucky few get to experience. It’s not like it’s completely epics fault RL is in a bad place when our pro players refuse to help out the game they are getting thousands of dollars to play. Easy things such as stream, make content, and having more of a personality does nothing but helps the games growth. I really hope RMC does well at this event, being able to represent your country at an international level is amazing 🙏

@AndiiRL @yawnny7 @NoxesRL Over the history of this game we've seen that if it's not RLCS is not as important so who cares if it's an int. tourny. It's still an off-season tournament that the top 1% of pros don't need to be at. Especially if they just had a season like g2 did.

I could say look at BDS, GF/Dignitas, NRG and G2. 3/4 teams had multiple different rosters but all dominated for lengthy periods of time in different eras of the game. Bro Vit is 2/3 in world championship finals

"why grind when you're the best team" What we've learned through Rocket League's history is that success is short-lived, just look at Vitality from 23 to 24.

@AndiiRL @yawnny7 @NoxesRL 1 I don't think they play the game for money, they could stream from home. 2 its a cool vacation but they represented USA in London and Copenhagen. 3 since there's no other tourneys why grind a game in the off-season when you are the best team in your region by far?

They'll get a paid trip with a nice paid hotel to make some cash that they won't be making sitting at home, cus there's no other tournaments going on and they just got dropped from G2
