We need to rewild 30% of the planet to restore nature & protect our wildlife, but Britain is falling behind. So I've signed this new petition calling on one of our biggest landowners - the Church of England - to rewild its land. Join me? you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/prom… via @38degrees

Whirlpool Ramshorn Snail, indicator of unpolluted freshwater. Rachel Reeves boasted she unblocked a development being held up by snails, a protected species, microscopic snails you can't see. This dismissive, ignorant attitude towards our environment has no place in government.

When’s the last time you saw a hedgehog? 🦔 Their numbers are falling, so I just signed a petition to make hedgehog highways - tiny gaps in fences to help them - mandatory in ALL new builds. Add your name: act.38degrees.org.uk/act/hedgehogs

🚨 The Treasury is threatening our national parks. Dartmoor, the Lake District & wild places could be bulldozed for development. Once gone, they're gone for ever. Join me and sign now to protect them: 38d.gs/save-national-…

Very low water levels in Dartmoor's reservoirs, so the ideal time to check for exposed aquatic plants. Littorella uniflora (left) mostly high and dry, and Isoetes echinospora (right) still mostly underwater. @DABotany @BSBIbotany #TwitterNatureCommunity

Labour are backtracking on a plan to help save birds: by blocking a new rule that would make developers put a £35 nest brick in every new home. They think it'll help win them votes - we need to show it would do the opposite. Sign the petition 38d.gs/0bjy
