@AndrewFromDO Appreciate it! Took me about 3 days to generate and stitch everything together. And yes there was lots of trial and error generating the clips 😅

Here’s my entry for #RunwayBigPitchContest I wanted to make a futuristic dystopian series, but not the polished neon version. I wanted grit, fear, real emotion. A future that felt lived in. This is "mei." A series about the most advanced AI model in a synthetic body that can dream, feel, and become something the company refuses to acknowledge: human. When her handler Ube sees the truth, she takes her and runs. Made in @runwayml

Are you not entertained? This is what’s possible pretty easily today with AI. It’s hard to comprehend where we will be in just a few short years time from now.

@MO_IAI @midjourney I like how MJ knows color grading only from expressing the feeling of the shot rather than precise technical parameters

I settled on the 1st MJ image from my last post, and went down a rabbit hole trying to turn it into a whole world. I’ve been using GPT Image 2.0 to push it further, analysing images, annotating layouts, testing architectural references, and shaping the city so it actually fits the story. GPT Image still isn’t always fully consistent across every visualisation, but it’s a really useful starting point for building, testing, and developing a world like this. The result is a capital built around class, ritual, and hidden power. I probably wont use any of this in the final clip, but this kind of worldbuilding really helps me to think visually and put together something coherant. References so far: Oscar Niemeyer, Louis Kahn, Carlo Scarpa, Peter Zumthor, Ricardo Bofill, Étienne-Louis Boullée, and Lutyens. Trying Tolkien/Martin style worldbuilding for a short clip is probably overkill, but I love it.

The more I look at real planning and architecture, the less random a fictional city feels. That’s been a nice discovery. City scapes inspired by Étienne-Louis Boullée & New Delhi

Day "I dunno which one" in a life of directing a short film - so far everything getting more complicated than it should be for this short film that I am trying to pull off. And the deeper I dive into the story and the shots, the more I realize I am missing "this other something else" that I didn't think about. It's like a drug in the end....my personal day is dancing around the moment I will get another chance to get back on the project and keep pushing and learning as I go alongside this short film idea. Overly ambitious to think I can manage the story, direction, photography, dealing w AI limitations, music, SFX, watching and learning from top directors all at once, while managing other day to day life essentials (as this is not 'unfortunately' my current main job (hate to call that way anyway), but pure passion side adventure that gives incredible amount of gratitude and I won't lie...pleasure. But man....the amount of finer detailed work that goes into thinking each shot, each prompt, each test and each failure and each happy final output moment .....Also what an era to be in to be able to explore such depth of cinema....

HOLY GRAiL — a comedy set in Renaissance Florence, 1503. Written, created, and scored by me in ten days. Entirely AI-generated. This film got me noticed by @thedorbrothers. I have the honour to work with them now. It’s gonna be a crazy journey. Full film on YouTube: @MarcoMagarioAI" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@MarcoMagarioAI

Sci-fi dreams created in Kling 3.0 and Seedance 2.0, trying out different characters and Omni workflows. I kind of like these two and may do a longer film. Music is one of my old Udio tracks. Upscale: Topaz Starlight 2.5. 👨‍🚀🎧

@miku_diffract Lots of cool ideas! And do you use character omni reference for Midjourney or ok with the variations you get?

@AndrewFromDO referencing directors or framing techniques in your prompts works quite well. you can also take a still from a movie, feed it to claude and ask it to analyse and break it down into a prompt. i'd recommend tweaking the prompt a bit and putting your own spin!

Gameplay footage of a game where you pacify anti-AI protesters to maintain order. Fictional game videos made with GPT Image 2 × Seedance 2.0 — pretty fun.
