So many watershed moments, but only one can be the greatest.
We're asking you to choose the most iconic goal scored by the Scotland men's national team. 🏴 ⚽️
Today...
Joe Jordan v Czechoslovakia in 1973?
Or Kieran Tierney v Denmark in November?

@MartinF1903 I hope you’re right. Section Y’ers have been shouting for 2 up front for a good while. We get more out of Nisbet. I hope Lazetic is the answer but he must improve his first touch, his decision making and be prepared to shoot earlier, or at all

@CobyHend I know every team has them but Falkirk could do without the group of young lads all dressed the same, many with their faces covered, who marched past the Merkland End before the match and then up on to King Street aggressively challenging the police

🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Arsene's Wenger new offside rule has been APPROVED and will be used in the Canadian Premier League!
A player will ONLY be offside if he has FULLY passed the last defender, so it won't be decided based on a body part anymore.
If succesful, the offside rule could change across the entire world from the 2027/28 season on.

@JimSpenceDundee Dons fans dreaded playing Morton with Ritchie in the team 😱
English

There is no one in Scottish football currently with the natural ability that Andy possessed. A feint, a twist, a shimmy, and by barely moving a yard he could leave an opponent lost. His passing and dead ball ability were imperious.

@1968Tv Thank you for sharing your memories, many of which resonate with me. I was in Aberdeen and early to mid 70’s. Add in getting the Green Final at tea time and highlights on Sportscene from 1975 with Scotsport on a Sunday. Happy memories

When Saturdays were special!
Around this time on Saturday mornings back in the late 1970s and early 80s, I would be getting ready for school football, with a kick-off at 9:30. Once finished, it was straight home for either Tiswas or Swap Shop.
Then settle down for an afternoon of sport with Grandstand and World Of Sport, which give us Football Focus and On The Ball. After a chippy dinner, it was watching the latest football scores flash on screen whilst watching other sports. Half-time reports came straight from the grounds and then you knew if your team would be featured on Match Of The Day or The Big Match, more latest scores would be flashed on screen in the second half of matches usually watching Rugby League on Grandstand or Wrestling on World Of Sport, around 4:40pm it was time for the Teleprinter/Vidiprinter on Grandstand or the results service on World Of Sport…but it had to be Grandstand, with David Coleman or Frank Bough reading out the results as they came in, or late goals etc.
Then it was time for Final Score and the Classified Results with Len Martin, complete with league tables, pools news, late kick-offs, and which matches would feature on Match Of The Day. After the late racing results and rugby results (Rugby Union results were often referred to as club matches) it was usually time for the sporting headlines of the day which meant the show was at its end usually around 5:10-5:15 pm.
After our tea, it was Pink Panther or Doctor Who, the Generation Game, then Starsky & Hutch as we were all waiting for Match Of The Day with Jimmy Hill and Bob Wilson, and if your team were on, it was the perfect end to your Saturday.
Unless you wanted to stay up ( if your parents let you) and watch Parkinson.
Those are memories of better days!

Great entertainment and our team
was competitive. There seems significant positive noise online and from commentary around Associate cricket. I’m hoping this will leverage improved funding, support and match programmes.. in our lifetime Cmoon 🏴 🏏

I’m very proud as a fan to have watched the @CricketScotland squad compete in each of their World Cup games. Compare their preparation to that of all 4 opponents and performances are all the more remarkable. And, to state the obvious: Richie B is an incredible leader.

15 years ago today I arrived on Downing Street in a cage.
I've seen off Cameron, May, Johnson, Truss and Sunak and I'm still going strong.
Only two Prime Ministers have ever done longer stints here: William Pitt the Younger and Sir Robert Walpole.
Bill and Bob - I'm coming for you...

@gus_tawse If Leven & Doc have the dressing room it’s seen the pragmatic thing to do
English

Feelings seem to be mixed amongst Dons fans on whether the club have done the right thing by bringing in Doc to assist Leven until the summer, when Horneland can start. What do you think?
Other options would’ve been persuading Horneland to come in straight away, which would mean paying his compensation from Saint Etienne, or giving up on him and bringing in a different manager on a permanent basis now.
