@JasonGregor The fact that he still is unable to establish a consistent defensive structure is a huge issue. Getting out coached in this specific series is irrelevant. The Oilers give up way too many grade A chances against. You can’t win a cup when you have to score 4-6 goals every night.

A couple thoughts after two games: 1 The Ducks are a solid young team. They have been the better team for most of the periods. 2 The defensive structure of the Oilers is still not nearly good enough. It’s weird it hasn’t just vanished now that the playoffs have started.
