Interestingly, he talks about getting valuable advice on hitting from teammates LaMonte Wade, Oliver Dunn and Mario Camilletti. Rikuu has played 25 games in Triple-A since his promotion, with tremendous success: a .344 batting average, a .447 obp, 23 runs and 6-9 in stolen bases. His is a unique game and it is unclear if it translates to the majors but more and more of us are curious to see what happens when the fan favorite gets his chance. @FutureSox

@OhioTate Threw out the “first Fetch” with our dog at a Birmingham Barons minor league game last year. Managed to get it across the plate while making sure he went home. It’s hard to understand how bad some of the first pitch’s are.

THE WEEK AHEAD: An active weather pattern is setting up for Alabama and the Deep South this week with multiple rounds of showers and storms. ROUND ONE: Storms will likely drift into North Alabama after midnight tomorrow night into early Tuesday morning. SPC has a "marginal risk" (level 1/5) defined for this activity; the main threat at this point seems to be from strong straight line winds. ROUND TWO: More storms will fire up Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. SPC has a "slight risk" (level 1/5) defined for North Alabama, with a "marginal risk" (level 1/5) down into the central counties. There is a good bit of uncertainty about "round two" in terms of timing, and if there will be a tornado threat. Once we get past the first round, we will see what the atmosphere looks like and have a much better idea by Tuesday morning. And, for now, it looks like the main risk of rain Thursday and Friday will be over the southern third of Alabama.

There would be coolers full of Buffalo Rock products and numerous snacks that you could grab throughout the day. They’d have meals catered by Full Moon BBQ and other local restaurants throughout the week.

Hey @BJCC, if you say the Arena Club has complimentary food and charge money for admission into said Club, you might want to, you know, actually have food.
