@Tatarigami_UA @NotWoofers No offense, but that’s not how it works. At least not on operational level.

The battle for Taiwan would likely center on two domains, naval and air. If both are lost, the probability of holding the island drops sharply. Whether Taiwan fields 100 or 500 tanks would mainly affect how long resistance lasts, not the outcome itself. This is not to say the ground component is irrelevant, but China must be prevented from:
a) Establishing a successful landing and foothold
b) Achieving air superiority
To prevent a large-scale landing, the priority is denial at sea. That requires USVs, autonomous torpedoes, and other less know to public naval drone systems. Destroying an amphibious vessel with a $60,000 naval drone or autonomous naval torpedo is far more cost-effective than engaging landing forces with a $20 million tank in dense urban terrain.
Countering airborne landings, such as helicopter-borne troops, would rely mainly on MANPADS, SHORAD systems, and drone interceptors.
When funding is directed toward systems LIKE heavy tanks in a densely populated, highly constrained terrain, it inevitably diverts resources from more critical systems that define the outcome of the war. The issue is not only cost, but time as well, since many of capabilities I mentioned above are not stockpiled and must be ordered in advance, produced, and potentially supported by expanded manufacturing capacity.
Ultimately, if China achieves air superiority and maintains uncontested naval resupply, the number of tanks in Taiwan becomes largely irrelevant. With fuel depots and port infrastructure blown sustaining armored operations would be extremely difficult, even before considering the challenge of breaking a blockade with tankers to deliver fuel

@NotWoofers There are far cheaper and more effective ways to achieve this than deploying a ~60-ton tank with a four-person crew and heavy logistical demands on an island with limited mobility options and a dense urban environment

@Pataramesh You have two dreams man. One is iPhone with android, the other is diesel Tesla. And also dreaming about US losing. Cope harder.

The C-SAR op to extract the F-15 WSO is certainly a good success for the U.S.
But let's not oversell it:
- He was in a sparsely populated, periphery province of Iran
- in 21st century with GPS and satellite phones, the rescuers had a big advantage
- The first, daytime attempt failed and led to two damaged Blackhawks, one crash landing, a lost A-10 and injured crews
- The nighttime 2nd operation exploited darkness with known position
➡️ So hiding in the wilderness of a remote region for two days, while knowing your position and communicating with your forces is an advantageous situation.
Being just 50-100km from Iran's borders is major another advantage.
But credit where its due, after the costly first failed attempt, lessons were learned and effectively applied.

And people like that have the right to vote, but fortunately he's not Hungarian.

@PLA_MilitaryUpd The F-47 is essentially a J-20 without a vertical tail, and its radar and air-to-air missiles are even inferior to the J-20's. Not to mention, it's uncertain whether the F-47 can even be mass-produced; the United States simply lacks the industrial capacity.

Did USAF destroy a SA-21 Growler Battery while striking Iran?
Iran tried to target Midnight Hammer strike package with "some very high high-end systems and they were just unable to.”
I would suppose that this means either SA-21 Growler, Bavar-373 or SA-20B Gargoyle.

@AMK_Mapping_ Front line, about 10-12 km away, is still too close to begin reconstruction.
Liberation of Konstantinovka to south and Seversk to north will allow reconstruction to begin, although life will return almost to normal only when the liberation front reaches Slavyansk and Kramatorsk.

@P_Kallioniemi In reality: The 18 years old gamer dude gets annihilated by a JDAM launched by an F-35A 120 kms away while defended by F-47s and top secret SR-91 Auroras and SR-72s. The JDAM is guided by J-Stars hunting radio emissions in a 200 kilometers radius

@GrittyMarshall @WarMonitor3 yeah Dude cause as you may know MOAB is american.

@WarMonitor3 I'm surprised Russia hasn't put a MOAB on top of Zelenski to be honest. Especially after they tried to attack Putin's helicopter.

@VidsBanned If I were the pilot crossing the runway, I wouldn’t be driving the plane into a beach like this plane is doing
If I were the pilot landing the plane, I would find a different airport to land as this runway is obviously way too narrow to land
It’s just a bad AI video
