@1116sen @Sammy__Edmund This headline is misleading - the way it’s written is as if he is taken leave now moving g forward rather than returning from it (extended leave). Sloppy. @1116sen

@hubermanlab Arete (ἀρετή) is an ancient Greek concept meaning excellence or virtue, but in a much richer sense than modern “being good.”
At its core, arete = fulfilling your highest potential.

Collingwood refused to travel for Opening Round after playing in the first two years on the road against GWS.
And the Pies get their wish facing St Kilda… a game at the MCG against a Marvel tenant, without giving up a ‘home’ game.

After two years of travelling for Opening Round - Collingwood is done with it. They want the load shared from 2026.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't actually think Nick had that great of a year tbf, I didn't think he was even a chance for the brownlow -- He was tagged out a lot of games, and had some games that werent as impactful especially with ball in hand.
I thought last year he had a better year. So I think this is fair.
Lets not take that away from DC's clearly great year. 2nd in the copeland last year. It was only a matter of time before he won, and we probably would have lost a few more games without him.
A very deserving winner, hands down.
Nick doesn't have to win it every year. There will be times he wont, and thats okay.

@Daicosian Surely the club would prefer him to play - there must be a good reason why he isn’t. If he was right, he’d be selected. All due respect, but, I’m not buying the fan narrative that it is a trivial decision.
