Consent ✅ Another teen footballer - very similar L acute anterior hip pain clinical presentation to AIIS apophysis (rec fem direct head) avulsion with similar explosive kicking mechanism However this time, its the ASIS (sartorius & TFL origin) that has subtly avulsed The xray normal in this case, but MRI positive I would still encourage clinicians to get x-ray as initial investigation regardless in acute adolescent injuries
