@greateranglia This isn’t correct, trains are leaving via platform 1. I appreciate it was likely a difficult situation for the staff but the complete lack of any form of on platform information was really poor.

Trains are currently being delayed via Chelmsford while the police and station staff deal with an incident. All trains at Chelmsford will be running via platform 2. You will be able to make your journey with us this morning, but as trains in both directions will be using platform 2 at Chelmsford, trains may be delayed waiting for their turn. This is similar to when a lane is closed on a road and a temporary traffic light system is in place.

Thank god they bought in VAR for moments like that. Exactly what it was meant for. Millimetres, if that to drain every bit of drama and emotion out of the game. Clowns.
