A lot of the problems in the world right now can be explained by this video. For one thing, it’s a big reason why the US government is so unaccountable to public opinion. The Crusades happened in the context of the collapse of the position of indigenous Christians in Western Asia and the expansion of both Turkic and Norman/French-led expansion of Catholicism.

They owned Spain. They were deep into India. They weren't a peaceful retiring civilization happy to tend their gardens. In fact after the First Crusade, the Muslims continued to conquer, eventually taking down the Byzantines and all the Balkans. The First Crusade was an audacious and courageous strike against a force that the crusaders felt menaced all Christendom. Were they justified? That has to be determined by your own moral compass. But certainly they weren't just picking on the poor oppressed Mohammedans.

@ElvisZerodx @bills_access Hardly ass kissing, I wouldn't call them home runs by any means. But they are all good value signings with a lot of upside and minimal cost. Between them and resigning Connor to a team friendly deal, I'd call it a solid B off season. Pretty good, could be better.
