Currently obsessed with an app called Merlin Bird ID, which is like Shazam for bird song. Amazing what it can pick out. Outside the house we have: pigeon, swallow, goldfinch, chaffinch, tinnet, robin, blackbird and jackdaw.

@au_tom_otive In addition, those that can afford to generate their own electricity though solar or wind, or even home storage, will pay lower rate of electricity from those who can't. Only way to align is to reduce public charging (electricity) to 5% or increase domestic electricity to 20%

The only way you can practically do this - because any driver with home charging can simply plug into a 3-pin outlet instead - is to increase the general rate of VAT on all domestic electricity, which is clearly not going to happen.

@au_tom_otive I don't see how that can work. It's not possible to robustly differentiate electrons for a kettle from electrons for an EV. Yes, they could mandate "smart" chargers, but what about legacy chargers and Mode 2 granny cables?

@LobAllan Also worth considering the 2.0litre petrol in 300 Sport, post-facelift P300. It’s the same engine we put in the 2.0litre F-TYPE. It doesn’t have the same sound but was super fun to drive and of course gives you AWD which was never available in RHD V6.
