I've realized that life is too short to live in Michigan. It sucks for 1/3rd of the year.

@Topo_G I was out there a few times in my 20's. Did Mendocino for 2 years and forrestville for 1 yr. It's quite literally unmatched weather and good community. I miss the lost coast.
Tennessee but specifically the Chattanooga areas been on the radar this round. It's a cool vibe.

The challenge that Tennessee will need to overcome is humidity and bugs.
NorCal is just kinda undefeated in terms of livable weather year round. Expensive, bad infrastructure, but ELITE weather
