📢RESCUERS & ADVOCATES 📢 For years I have talked about the chaos of rescue and wanting to help streamline parts of it. For each dog we are trying to save, hundreds of reposts, scattered pledges in comments, foster offers lost in threads, and constant "update?" in the posts, or 100s of “Is he still there?” calls to the shelter ...all while dogs wait. It wastes precious time many of them do not have. Although somewhat effective, we are kicking up a lot of dust and need a better way to keep us from going crazy, and save more dogs. So I’ve been working on a platform called RESCUE-LINK. ➡️How it would work: - Every dog already has a microchip — that becomes their permanent “Universal Key.” - Rescue-Link would connect to shelter management systems (like Shelterluv, PetPoint, etc.) so when the shelter updates the dog’s status, it shows up instantly on one simple link. —ONE shareable link!— 1) Live status (In Shelter → Urgent → Tagged → Adopted/Safe) 2) All pledges in one visible total for rescues. 3) Verified foster offers in one central place. 4) Clear buttons: Pledge • Offer Foster • Tag (for verified rescues) • Adopt • Contact Coordinator 5) We can simply paste the link in our posts. 6) No more outdated information or endless scrolling. 7) Rescues can see serious help at a glance and make faster pull decisions. 8) Shelters answer way fewer calls and build trust with the public. 9) Everything stays in one place. 10) We save more dogs. This is one practical tool that is part of a bigger system I have created to bring real solutions to animal welfare. It is heartbreaking to watching good dogs slip through the cracks because of bad information flow. We can do better. Checkout a draft of the home screen. Would something like this help reduce some of the madness in rescue work? The more feedback I get, the better I can shape solutions that actually work for you and the dogs, and cats! ❤️🤍🩵🐶🐈 #RescueLink #AnimalRescue #SaveThemAll

Layla’s Heart Ranch and Rescue
This is hard to admit, but things have gotten to a point where we desperately need a side-by-side for the ranch. When it rains, our road floods and becomes undrivable. That means we are walking 1,447 feet one way, back and forth multiple times a day through mud carrying 50 lb bags of dog food, hay, medications, water buckets, supplies… everything the animals need to survive. And with rain in the forecast for the next 10 days, we are facing that reality again. Recently, one of our dogs, Coby, became critically ill. He was jaundiced, weak, and rapidly declining. Because of the flooding and mud, we could not get a vehicle down to the kennel area, and we physically could not carry an 80 lb dog that entire distance through deep mud fast enough. We ended up having to cut fencing down just to get him out as quickly as possible and into a vehicle to rush him to emergency care. That moment changed something in me. This is no longer just exhausting. It is dangerous. Long term, we need a real road into the ranch, but estimates are anywhere from $30,000-$70,000, which is simply impossible for us right now. A side-by-side would allow us to transport food, medical supplies, and animals safely during flooding and severe weather. It would change daily life here more than I can explain. A reliable one that could handle ranch conditions would cost around $10,000. At the same time, all of our monthly bills are due, food donations have slowed dramatically, and our kennel building floor is literally falling apart. We are trying so hard to stay afloat. I hate asking for help as much as we do. But these animals depend on us, and right now we truly need help. If you can donate, share, or even just help spread the word, we would be beyond grateful. I can't believe this is happening and they're making this poor dog and his family suffer. A vengeful neighbor reported them and lied that the dog attacked them when it actually didn't but the city decided to act and has locked up the dog and won't let the owners see him. Idiots.

Took Lucy treats. Couldn't see her. One of the ladies took a video of her. She sent it to me along with the following message: "Praying for a positive outcome soon for Lucy! 🙏" These people are heroes. God bless them. But I want my dog back. #SaveLucy @Herb_Minstrel
