@EYDShow He leads the team in LD%, Hard%, and has the highest EV hit. He’s 2nd in EV avg. Guy’s crushing it. His BABIP is .176. He’s basically the At-Em Ball King, playing laser tag with opposing defenders.

Glad we can make this determination off of 31 inconsistent PA where the team hasn’t even attempted to get him in favorable matchups. By this logic, no organization should have ever taken a leap of faith in a player in the history of baseball.

@SFGiantsLiveHQ Just remember, Trevor McDonald can’t post an ERA below 5.00 in that league. It’s stupidly hitter friendly. Breaking pitches don’t break in lots of those places. Nice reward, not great for development. It’s a warehouse for scrubs.

@C2Cbsbl @BrandtRossi Our #2 last year is currently rated our #9 prospect, not sure we get better. Teams are reticent to give away a lot for rentals. He’s good for Giants, but the minimal slug and conscientious objector status towards walks tamps down his value with the quants who run FO’s.

Why are Giants fans so against trading Luis Arraez? This team is inevitably going to be in a spot to sell at the deadline You can’t extend him because you have too many long term IF contracts And, he’s going to have a lot of value and bring in a decent return #SFGiants

Tony Vitello told reporters in Sacramento that Heliot Ramos will miss at least two weeks and likely more than that with his quad strain. Casey Schmitt will be part of the left field mix while Ramos is out.

We don’t need to do either. Baseball seasons are long. And if any one of like, five or six guys gets hurt, the problem solves itself. And by the time that guy gets back, someone else is probably ready to hit the IL. Giants fans need to breathe a little. #SFGiants

@JRBayArea10 @susanslusser They can try, just likely an impossibility until they show signs of life, only happens if they play. I doubt they’re moving Devers until Eldridge shows he’s legit. Other possibility, move one for a similar bad contract, say a pitcher early in TJohn rehab.

@susanslusser I wonder if the Giant try unloading one of these veterans to free up space for Bryce. It might take sweetening the deal with cash and a prospect to get someone to take Devers, Chapman, or Chapman. Not sure if any of those players have a no trade clause.

@bengodfrey @The_StilesFiles No trade clauses are just another way to get money. Getting guys interested in being somewhere isn’t hard, it’s the reverse that’s the problem. Package Chapman with Ray and agree to take on some of Chapman’s money. Don’t get cute and insist on a prospect haul.

Rafael Devers is not 29. He’s Ole Man Devers & the Red Sox fleeced Buster into taking this contract. He’s closer to 34 & his bat speed is declining & his K rate is skyrocketing. He’s awful & the Giants only hope is he gets hot enough to trade. There are others associated with MLB that are saying he’s older than 29. The D.R. has a history of players falsifying birth certificates & ages together the big contracts. He’s lost at the plate & the Giants can’t afford to deal with this for the next 7+ years.

@NorCalSportsNW So who are these people “associated” with MLB? Names? Why is anyone trading for a guy if they know his deal runs into his 40’s? Only heard this angle from internet slappy’s, so far. Better sit down for this, same thing happened to Bellinger, A WHITE GUY from the US.
