@RonnieAdkins Learn to call, and go where wild turkey are plentiful.
Grocery store sells turkey for less than the cost of the license to hunt them. In Colorado anyway. 😂
So this just happened. LEFTISTS are responsible for this, spreading lies about me and defaming me. That includes LEFTISTS that call themselves Republicans!
@Theloveiswhere@JohnKayUSMC@AllieJade1 Fair enough. I spent too many years being nice to people that had no bearing on my paycheck. That is no longer the case.
@AnejoDave@JohnKayUSMC@AllieJade1 We are retired and old school. You make a good point. I will definitely remember that if we do anymore drywall work, which I hope I don't. So, no worries, we won't infect the industry 🤣
This coworker was showing off how strong the drywaller is, watching him maneuver a full sheet of plaster board all by himself. Then the comments rolled in - a bunch of people asking where the “glue” was on the back of the drywall.
The pros with decades of experience jumped in: “We don’t glue.” Others said it’s a code requirement in some places.
So drywall professionals - is glue actually necessary, OR is the recommendation for it just being made by overly cautious people who aren't in the trade?
@Theloveiswhere@JohnKayUSMC@AllieJade1 Your husband is a shitstain on the industry. Glue is an accelerant in a fire. The very thing you do not want in your assembly.
I worked reconstruction for 2 different firms in Northern Virginia and one only screwed and the other did both. From the quality of the homes and my pay, I know a few million dollar homes in Spotsylvania County. I had one, but the land was sold and house is no longer there.
When I was office manager for an the engineering firm, I asked what VA Code was - glue or screw. That is the source of my info. Also, this would have been in the 1990s, but there are still people who like both, my husband is one.
@AllieJade1 There is not a single UL or USG system that requires glue. Nor it is required in the IRC or IBC. In fact glue would render the fire retardation qualities of the gypsum board to be reduced.
