In our latest work we applied dipolar direct current (DDC) to get thermodynamic parameters on the dissociation of fatty acyl chains from glycerophospholipids. The driving force is a mixture of entropic and enthalpic reasons. Watch out for the head group! pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…
