One question I hear asked a lot is why is Frank in such a bad headspace in the One Last Kill special. A great theory is that the void incident messed him up because his shame room was probably pretty brutal. So that would have definitely regressed him to a more raw state.

Troy was so good. But you have to realize people at the time thought this was a B movie. The Lord of the Rings movies had just come out. Gladiator was only a few years old. Pirates of the Caribbean was the year before. We just thought movies would be good forever.

Jon Hamm is a perfectly adequate actor who was cast in the perfect part. As a result he's kind of been overrated. He was pretty charming in the FLETCH movie, average in most other things, and downright bad in RICHARD JEWELL. Eastwood famously only gives actors 1-2 takes and boy was Hamm exposed.
