On International #MineAwarenessDay, we are reminded that landmines and explosive remnants of war continue to threaten lives, livelihoods, and the future of entire communities. For many in #Ukraine - especially those living and working on the land - safety is not a given, but something that must be restored. Behind these efforts are women who are reshaping the humanitarian mine action sector every day - from deminers and risk education or survey specialists to farmers reclaiming their land after clearance. Their stories are about courage, resilience, and the power to rebuild.
