@NZNationalParty How are you increasing debt if you're simply not taking the extra tax you're taking at the moment?
It just means you're not gaining from the Fuel issue, and customers aren't overpaying for an energy source.
🧵 POLL OF POLLS UPDATE — The numbers the media won't put together for you.
The coalition isn't dying. It's reshuffling. Here's what the full polling data actually shows. 👇
@terrymckain1 It's school holidays. Perhaps he's not into mowing lawns or doing other jobs for his pocket money.
They start young these lazy ones.
Where are his parents? If he's under 14yrs why is he out alone.
Wonder if he spent your donate on vaping?
I saw a 12 year old boy begging outside my supermarket yesterday. It saddened me and I wondered what Luxon would have thought if he saw it? Then, I realised; he wouldn’t see this, and, if by chance he did, he wouldn’t care
@AngelaGilder3@JKennedy1947 Here's the thing Angela.....young "healthy" people were dying from heart attacks, fatal arrhythmias, blood clots and aneurysms in the years before covid.
Shane Warne was the greatest spin bowler of all time. He also drank, smoke, did recreational drugs and had a similar diet to me.
Covid vaccinations saved lives.
@chrisluxonmp Multiple culturalism doesn't work long-term. Eventually, one culture will dominate.
Yes, we can all play nicely for a while, but we don't have the same morals, ethics, belief's or desires for the future.
Slow down. Can't you see how bad it's got overseas?
@ThrillaRilla369 Nah. But it was the best thing to ever happen to find out who all the fucking retarded antivax idiots were. They all came out of the woodwork.
@drchrispook@DertySesh Everyone should be prepared for a disaster at any time. Earthquakes, terrorist attacks & bad weather. We've all known for years. Have an emergency defence kit.
Councils need to be prepared too.
It doesn't have to be media-created fear porn every time a storm's brewing.
@DertySesh "Tricked" is absolutely ridiculous. Do you think we shouldn't be warned of the potential for a natural disaster? Do you not understand how forecasts work? If you want them to be more accurate why aren't you campaigning for more funding for climate change research?
So was half of NZ tricked by the news into spending money they don’t have on food that don’t need for a cyclone that seems to be just another shitty day in Auckland. Understandable for some city’s on the east cost. But geez, people were behaving like it was the end of the world.
My partner and I were having a conversation, and marriage came up. I have one cat (8 years old) and one dog, a Morkie (2 years old).
Basically, he said he won't marry me unless I rehome my pets, as he feels they will become his responsibility-even after I told him I would be responsible for everything, i.e., vet bills, food, etc. He also shared that he would need to buy a bigger house for space, as he is semi-allergic. However, he said that if he had a huge house with land, it wouldn't be a problem, because there would be more space and airflow.
Yeah, NO♥️
The pets in question:

@RusselNorman NZ is vulnerable to propaganda, that's for sure.
Extreme weather event have happened since the beginning of time.
Fear porn sells news. Media love it.
NZ is vulnerable to fossil fuel shocks and climate change amplified storms. Policies to cut fossil fuel use address both issues. The current NZ Govt has systematically dismantled these policies and replaced them with policies to increase fossil fuel dependency and emissions. Time to change course.
Auckland is New Zealand’s economic engine and today we’ve backed it to go further.
We’ve signed the country’s first-ever City Deal with Auckland Council. It’s a long-term partnership to unlock growth, build infrastructure, and lift living standards.
This means getting on with the big stuff: delivering projects like the City Rail Link and Eastern Busway, planning for the next Waitematā Harbour crossing, and unlocking new housing and jobs in places like Drury and along the CRL corridor.
It’s a more coordinated, more accountable way of working, focused on actually delivering results.
Because when Auckland succeeds, New Zealand succeeds.
Ladies… I really need your honest advice
My fiancé gave me this ring, and I feel terrible even saying this… but I don’t love it
It’s pretty, but it’s just not what I’ve always dreamed of. I imagined something a bit more special, something that makes me feel excited every time I look at it.
Now I feel stuck between not wanting to hurt his feelings… and not wanting to wear something for the rest of my life that I’m not truly happy with.
Am I being ungrateful? Should I talk to him about it… or just accept it and move on?
Please be honest, I really need your opinions
I have a good degree in trans gender studies, I have lived experience from my gap year, I have worked for 5 YEARS for a LGBTQ2XYZ charity and I STILL can't afford a house in central London.
My Granny has a 4 bed place, right by a tube stop. She doesn't NEED all that space since my Grandad died last year. Why can't she just sell it and help me out?
After all, I AM paying for her pension
