If you support Kennedy Agyepong and genuinely want to see him one day lead the NPP and become President of Ghana, then move past the divisions from the flagbearer race and rally behind Dr Bawumia. Some people continue to revisit the arguments and tensions from the primaries to justify withholding their support for Dr Bawumia. But in reality, refusing to support him only delays any future opportunity for Kennedy Agyepong to lead the NPP. The honest truth is that until Dr Bawumia leads the party to power, none of your preferred candidates will ever lead the NPP. Those of us who backed Dr Bawumia have let go of the disagreements from the contest because we understood it was all part of internal party competition, not personal hostility. We were simply advocating for our preferred candidate, not creating lasting divisions. At the end of the day, our loyalty should be to the NPP itself not just to individuals like Dr Bawumia or Kennedy Agyepong. We shouldn't allow internal differences to harm the very party we all believe in, just because our preferred candidate didn’t emerge as leader. So it’s important that we put aside personal preferences and work together to strengthen the NPP, rather than divide it from within.
