Matchups got a bit unlucky towards the end + topcut but I feel like I have a near 50/50 against Guffy at this point.

@LunyQuickCobra It’s still negative but you can spam wyper and twister and win. You can also play wyper on 8 and trade their whole board

I'm really happy to see someone win with my Teach list. Great player and deserved win 🏆 The deck only has U/G Luffy as a negative matchup, so the idea behind the deck was to fully tech for that matchup to bring it closer to a 40/60 or even 45/55 while maintaining a 60/40 or 70/30 winrate against almost everything else.

A two hour train ride to the airport, so here are my thoughts on the tournament. I started the day 0-2 with Nami, then decided to drop and join the 4 AM queue for the Treasure Cup ticket. For that event, I chose to play Teach just to test him out. A lot of people asked me why I switched decks during the day, so here are my reasons. First, I simply wanted to try him because Teach is Teach. Second, I think the deck can hold its own against almost everything, except maybe UG Luffy and Yamato. But the main reason comes from an analysis of the format that I had already been working on: this is no longer Nami’s format. Even though I was doing well in Toulouse, starting 6-0, finishing 7-3, and then making Top 32 at the Treasure Cup the next day, my Swiss rounds were full of “jungle” decks. Luckily, I managed to beat all the Teach players I faced, but on paper it was a really bad Swiss field for a deck like Nami. As I often say on stream, I always try to analyze the format as objectively as possible. Right now, the meta is much more open, and that means there are way more decks Nami has to take into account. The way I see it, the format can be divided like this: Jungle decks: Teach Rosinante Lucy Red Shanks Yamato Ace Top meta: UG Luffy Enel Nami mirror Looking at these decks, Nami currently has: Two good matchups: Yamato and Enel Two even matchups: UG Luffy and the mirror Five negative matchups: almost everything else So, if you want to reach Top Cut with Nami, your Swiss run becomes extremely important. Matchup luck matters a lot more than before. Of course, you still need to play well, and negative matchups can still be won, but the situation is completely different compared to the previous format. The top decks were mostly Enel and Nami, with decks like Kalgara, Lucy, Ace, Luffy Bell, Enel y, and Boa around them. Most of those matchups were either positive or even, and if you played well, they were all very winnable. Bielefeld was probably my last dance with Nami. Now it’s time to focus and understand which deck I should switch to for Wolverhampton.

#UKGamesExpoCC Day 1 has been been super busy but super fun - I played in the SWU Limited event and placed 12th (4-2, but only lost to first and third so can't complain) and have be there b demoing some new tcgs like the Naruto Card Game. Still got a few hours left, happily taking recs of games to try!

Only a week to go until #UKgamesexpo2026CC! I'll be playing in the SWU Sealed event on Friday and then exploring the con and trying out all the new games on Saturday and Sunday. Got 2nd at The Arena League cup with Jangaskhan! Deck was so smooth and ran well until the finals where I bricked game 1 and never saw Bravery Charm in game 2 to save me. This is the first tournament I lost to gardevoir and that was on me for taking the shaymin out for duck 1/2
