EXCLUSIVE: More than 35 filmmakers affiliated with Mubi — including Radu Jude, Aki Kaurismäki and Joshua Oppenheimer — have signed a letter urging the distributor to reconsider its relationship with investor Sequoia Capital over its Israeli military ties.
"We don’t believe an arthouse film platform can meaningfully support a global community of cinephiles while also partnering with a company invested in murdering Palestinian artists and filmmakers," the letter reads.

it’s not that Anora’s politics weren’t good… they were actively reactionary. the film ends on the note of: all she needed was love, understanding and patience from the right kind of man :-) that said, Sean Baker really knows how to shoot the inside of a car
