It is with much reflection and future excitement we are informing you that after 59 years Angie’s Waterloo, a landmark in UpTown Waterloo will be closing its doors. The building will be removed to make room for a new tomorrow.

@AngiesWaterloo1 I remember being born in Waterloo and living there from 1954 to 1983. Will miss this family restaurant and all the memories!😢❤️

Our kitchens are closed! However... by popular demand we are getting many requests for our baked goods. Till mid June we are taking pre orders for cinnamon buns, butter tarts & pies! Please call 519-496-7933 to place your order so we can put a smile on your face a little longer!

End of an era for an icon in Uptown Waterloo. I had to have one last breakfast and a cinnamon bun from @AngiesWaterloo1! I’m going to miss Teresa Huegle and daughter Suzanne. Such a great family and great food.

If these walls could talk @AngiesWaterloo1 they wouldn’t be half as entertaining as a chat with Teresa and Suzanne. This may be the end of an era in hospitality for Waterloo region but no doubt a few novels are begging to be written. Congratulations Huegle family.
