@TopDriverIndia The hayabusa incident in this gen is insanely big mistake by their parents. The sale, registration and use of such vehicles must be regulated

“We are giving our youth powerful bikes with absolutely no training on how to handle them”. Many of today’s motorcycles can easily go 140 km/h- which is insane for a rider without proper training! It’s like sending a soldier to war without a gun. We need to change this process. Hate me if you will, but we must make a Driver Education course compulsory before registering a new bike at RTA. *Image for representation purposes only #roadsafety

This unauthorised encroachment structure was demolished by @GHMCOnline a couple of years ago. Few months afterwards it came back, and started running some food business. It was demolished by GHMC again two months ago, again it’s coming back. How to deter such repeat offenders? We cannot keep blaming the government when it is us the public, which is committing the offences. This building also has a dangerous cellar parking ramp, encroaching the footpath 💁🏽‍♂️ This is in my colony, Padma Rao Nagar Main Road, opposite the park.

@AngrezInHyd @HYDTP Please suggest an alternate place for these cars to park... Each car owner would have paid 1 lakh + just in tax, where is the closest parking space provided for them?

@TopDriverIndia It's the fear of heavy penalty When the penalties are cheap and far of not able to drive will deter wrong side driving Car parking on road penalty Rs 100 Wrong side driving Rs. 250

Vineeth said it right. I have also been stuck in traffic jams in Chicago but the difference is that everyone waits patiently in their lane. So there is collective pain, but collective justice. In India a few selfish (and not so smart) people start driving on the wrong side and end up creating a huge traffic jam which compounds the problem for everyone. Furthermore, in India when the cops come to clear the jam- THEY ALWAYS LET THE WRONG SIDE DRIVERS GO FIRST! No penalty for them- only reward. This encourages more wrong side drivers in future... The unfairness of such things makes the daily driving experience in India stressful.
Vineeth K@DealsDhamaka

I know we crib a lot about traffic in India Chicago, New York, New Jersey (not much public transport) have instance traffics on freeways, the reason driving doesn't feel stressful is they follow the traffic 🚦 rules It's basic civic sense. Stuck on freeway for 1 hour last week, still covered 20 miles

@HYDTP thank you for doing this However 20ft distance to school is very less I request to make it longer at other locations This needs to be accompanied by amber lights and School Sign as the paint won't last for a year

@TopDriverIndia @mukund yes this needs to stop in India as well. Hotels are quietly adding Service Charge and on top it staff expect tips this is added quietly and very few read the bill in between the lines

@mukund The tipping culture in America is a total scam. They expect us to directly pay the salaries of their employees. It is quite ridiculous. It’s like getting on a plane and then air hostess ask for tips to cover their salary.

I rarely eat out. Maybe once a month. Went yesterday to a restaurant (Italian, Mediterranean) in West Seattle for Mother’s Day last night. Total for 5 of us ( we don’t drink alcohol) with one salad, humus and 3 vegetarian pastas was $97 The check said 3.5% surcharge for credit card. Then 17% service fee, mandatory. Then tips were 20% 22% and 25% optional. I asked if I could pay in cash. No. They don’t take cash. Then how can I avoid the credit card fee I asked. You can’t. So I asked why the service charge. It pays for the employees they said. Then why the tip I asked. It pays for front office staff I don’t get it.

@TopDriverIndia The same is happening in India One critical sickness wipes out entire savings, arogya sri works only for the white ration card. Middle class depends on savings and insurance is a joke 4 member family pays around Rs. 75K/yr for a mere 10 lakhs health insurance. Beyond it save God

In the USA, fear of healthcare cost hangs like a Damocles sword on every body. Affordable Health Insurance is tied to your job, if you lose your job, you lose your Health Insurance. And one big sickness can wipe out your entire savings and finish you financially. That’s why everybody has a perpetually anxiousness in USA. I know because I lived there for 25 years. It’s like a small background program, which is always running in your head. A pretty cruel system overall.
Magee Clegg@mageeclegg

One of the strangest things about America 🇺🇸… You meet people making $300k/year who are anxious, exhausted, medicated, and can barely sleep at night. Then you go to Mexico 🇲🇽… and see some guy running a small restaurant, barely breaking even… but he’s laughing with friends, drinking mezcal at lunch, hugging customers, and sleeps perfectly fine at night.
