To be fair this is why I think Christianity is weaker than other religion.
The concept of redemption and second chances is a nice idea but never exists in practice.
Christians themselves often hate it when they see the world anything outside black and white.
A good example is with complex villains, or villains that have sympathetic and understandable motivations.
