@justgooseisfine If you're getting into LotM read it, the anime's pacing is just way too insanely fast and hard to follow for beginners And while Arc 6 is better in the WN, a first time experience with the anime is still probably peak anyway, then you can just read it after imo

Apparently I haven't made it clear enough what my take is on it; Leon's Charizard would absolutely throttle Dialga & Palkia, and it isn't particularly close. In fact, any other interpretation is pretty ass! 😃👍

@KingTengenn I think all Champion-like combatants can contend / have a back & forth with Dialga & Palkia (any Movie-18 level combatant), Leon is just the first character that would shit on them so handedly.

@AnipokeScaling Tbh if we're talking about their Avatars then you could probably argue all M8 members can contend with them anyways. A weaker version of Alain already fought 50% Zygarde to an extended stalemate/stall.

@KingTengenn I do like that interpretation, but it doesn't matter to me if it's true or not. Regardless of if they're avatars like Arceus or their literal manifestations, Leon remains their combat superior to the versions we see combat / interact.

@spiritualeboy -time. BoS Leon falls within that Movie-18 ballpark (as does every Champion-like combatant), it isn't until Leon resolves himself to get stronger in Ep. 100 that he begins to cliff these type of combatants. If you want, I can go over it in-depth in DM. [2/2]

@spiritualeboy Garchomp clashing with Palkia's Spacial Rend is noteworthy, but it isn't the main argument for why Champion-like combatants rival the Box-Art ballpark displayed in Movie-18. Pre-Darkest Day Leon falls within being a Cynthia-like (Champion-like) combatant at the- [1/2]

@SamCharizardGuy If you're referring to what happens in JNs when they interact & it casues time reversal on any/all Pokémon, then that's true. Individual attacks like Spacial Rend have already been shown to clash with normal attacks though, so any durability negation problem is unlikely.

Prob is that high tier legendaries have giga hax which usually don't follow rules of conventional pokemon battling Zard doesn't have many ways to counter the time or space powers as they aren't moves perse

@AnipokeScaling However Both dialga and palkia are on par with mega darkrai, who could on megas zygarde and rayquaza Meanwhile Leon's charizard could only take on regular eternatus, not eternamaxed eternatus, said version of eternatus= the aforementioned megas,ange floette & a certain turtle

@AnipokeScaling @nameless_produc Dont give them too much credit. They're literally strarted to view Black Rayquaza as lesser Rayquaza because bro wasn't fighting Groudon and Kyogre every Tuesday, even though the series implies it is at least no lesser than an average one

@AnipokeScaling with the idea that Kanto birds are all somewhat similar on average and with no confirmation that Noibat trained or showed some type of strength, it is kinda had to be the idea, that Noivern straight up reached BF Charizard ballpark by just evoving from a from a low lvl

@MrMystery992 Crocalor gets blitzed & one tapped by a surpressed Base Lucario, to then being able to perceive & combat Mega Lucario in half a day Ash deadass trains for 1 minute & 30 seconds one time & Dawn states he's noticeably stronger than prior, deadass not makin that up 😭

@MrMystery992 Floragato in maybe the time span of an hour goes from being substantially below Arc 4 Pikachu to bitching on 50% Zygarde via 2 battles they adapt from. They deadass cliff Tera Floragato, Tera Crocalor, Tera Quaxwell, & Tera Ceruledge combined in base in just a few minutes.

@spiritualeboy The tldr is basically the idea that higher-end combatants like Cynthia already rival Movie-18 level combatants (Dialga & Palkia). Leon's Charizard is so substantially above people like Cynthia that Movie-18 level combatants just realistically aren't doing anything noteworthy.
