Shoaib, a Salon Owner, Poses as 'Saurabh' to Prey on 13-14 Hindu Young Women... 😳 Shoaib, a 19-year-old resident of Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, ran a salon in Lucknow. By creating a fake Hindu profile on Instagram under the name 'Saurabh Singh,' he would befriend Hindu girls and lure them into his trap. To impress girls on social media, he would create videos showcasing a luxurious lifestyle, often featuring expensive cars. He would first befriend Hindu girls on social media and then, by feigning romantic interest, establish physical relationships with them. His targets were primarily minors and young girls. He would record photos and videos of these girls in compromising situations and subsequently use them to bl@ckmail them. He even went so far as to coerce the girls into forced religious conv€rsion by threatening to leak their private videos and photos online. This case actually came to light following a police complaint filed by a 15-year-old Hindu girl from Lucknow. She stated that she had met a boy named 'Saurabh' on social media, and they subsequently entered into a relationship. However, when she discovered his true identity realizing that he was not Saurabh but Shoaib—she immediately ceased all contact with him. Following this, Shoaib bl@ckmailed the minor girl using her compromising photos and videos, while also pressuring her to convert her religion. When the minor refused to comply, Shoaib uploaded her private photos and videos onto social media. Consequently, the minor girl approached the Sairpur Police Station in Lucknow to file a complaint, thereby bringing this alarming case to light. It is worth noting that photos and videos of 13 to 14 young women in compromising situations were recovered from his mobile phone. This indicates that he was likely bl@ckmailing all of them as well. The actual number of victims could potentially be even higher; the figure mentioned represents only those identified through the evidence found on his phone following his arrest.

Days after the Dalai Lama recognised this child as an important future Tibetan Buddhist leader, Chinese authorities disappeared him and his family. He was six years old. Chinese authorities should immediately release Gedhun Choekyi Nyima and his family and stop persecuting Tibetans or others in China for their religious beliefs. The United States supports religious freedom for Tibetans and the freedom to preserve their unique cultural and linguistic identity.
