The nationwide campaign ‘Beti Surakshit, Rashtra Surakshit’ against ‘Corporate Jihad’ and ‘Love Jihad’ was launched in Pune by the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti during a special dialogue on “Corporate Jihad: What is the Reality?” held at Modern College Auditorium, Shivajinagar. Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Medha Kulkarni (@Medha_kulkarni) stated that the issue of ‘Corporate Jihad’ will be raised in Parliament, emphasizing that along with direct offenders, the entire supporting system should be brought under the ambit of law and given strict punishment. She also stated that discussions are underway on whether strict rules and conditions can be applied to companies before they enter India. 🎤 Shefali Vaidya (@ShefVaidya), noted speaker and author, stated that in companies such as Lenskart and Tata Consultancy Services, policies like permitting hijab and turban but not allowing kumkum, tilak, and kalava reflect discriminatory practices, and after opposition such rules were relaxed only for eight days. Today, the Bombay High Court has granted bail to Sharad Kalaskar, who was wrongly convicted in 2024 by a special court for the murder of Dr Narendra Dabholkar. The conviction of Kalaskar and Andure was surprising as it ignored clear evidence that there was manipulation of witnesses and serious doubt on their identities, as I had pointed out in my article organiser.org/2024/05/18/238… and now the Bombay High Court too has categorically stated that they doubted that Kalaskar was actually the assailant. I’m sure that soon, Sachin Andure too will get bail and walk free from the false charges against him.
