Tales of our health system from the inside: When you're under the care of a doc for pain meds...the doc can allow 24 hours to go by before signing an Rx that was promised asap. Patient options: A: Take 2x the rec dose of OTC meds to manage the pain; B: check in to ER 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

On my way to my only @US_FDA adcom our flight circled DC for hours, then diverted to Norfolk for gas, then waited in gas line for hours, then maintenance, now midnight, then cancelled flight, then motel for 3 hours, rebooked 7 AM flight, (FDA would not reimburse). Arrived at 0900 adcom at 0901
