Inside Iran, a daring US operation pushes the limits of stealth and strategy 🚨 An F-15E pilot evades capture deep behind enemy lines after being shot down—while a daring rescue mission unfolds. US calls it a high-stakes success. Iran claims it was a failed uranium heist with heavy losses. Experts draw parallels to Operation Eagle Claw, calling it a possible “pathfinder” for something bigger. #WestAsiaWar #IndiaTodayGlobal | @Geeta_Mohan @AnkiitKoomar @SandeepUnnithan @GauravCSawant

No strikes have been reported here, neither any visible damage, these locations are often seen to have these dirty flares if you check history imagery from the last 12 months. Likely a bit more due to low pressure or other reasons for emergency flaring.
Egypt's Intel Observer@EGYOSINT

Extensive damage to key energy infrastructure across the UAE. Sentinel-2L satellite imagery from yesterday shows fires burning across at least three major oil and gas sites in the UAE Asab, Bu Hasa, and Habshan following reported Iranian strikes.

@dex_eve We have seen evidence that many of the Mizarvision imagery was just watermarked and colored Airbus imagery. Mizarvision stopped posting imagery on their Weibo account the day it was called out.

No offense to Ryan but the Mizarvision concerns have gotten out of hand and we are now making mountains out of molehills. The capability is pretty unremarkable and there is effectively no clear evidence that Mizarvision is acting "maliciously" (to quote the article). A thread.
Ryan Fedasiuk@RyanFedasiuk

The @abcnews is out this morning with a disturbing story: The IRGC is actively making use of detailed satellite imagery and analysis published by MizarVision, a Chinese geospatial analytics company — and has used this data to target American, Australian, and allied forces in the Middle East. This is a fluid and fast-moving situation and I want to be clear about what we know so far. 1️⃣ It's clear U.S. forces in the Gulf are operating in an environment that is very different from any other they have encountered previously. Commercial satellite imagery collected by foreign companies is now available at a quality and frequency that is good enough to put U.S. combat forces in harm's way. This is ultimately why U.S. collection platforms like @vantortech and @planet chose this weekend to suspend their coverage over the Middle East. Unfortunately, predictably, foreign competitors like MizarVision see no reason to censor their own product offerings. 2️⃣ The implications are grim: ostensibly private Chinese AI companies are directly helping the Iranian regime target U.S. and allied forces in the region. The ABC has information that the IRGC is striking U.S. facilities "within hours" of MizarVision publishing them. I told @henryzwartz that this would effectively amount to Iranian forces outsourcing targeting data to a Chinese company: It is "the greatest degree of support we have seen China provide to a proxy force against the United States" — there is really no other way to read it. 3️⃣ If the Chinese government wanted to rein in the actions of MizarVision and other imagery providers, it could. And it should. Spokespersons from @MFA_China have so far attempted to downplay the significance of this development. I'm willing to buy that Chinese officials haven't been aware of the importance of this particular imagery or the extent of its use by the IRGC — but China should recognize this is an extremely serious development. We're talking about Chinese enterprises directly supplying actionable intelligence to wartime enemies of the United States. MizarVision has spent weeks zeroing in on U.S. forces and bases in the region and publishing their activities on its Weibo account. It hasn't done the same to Iran. It's very clear what is going on here — and it is unacceptable. This doesn't have to be a story about China. It's clear the United States is also learning about the battlefield potential of commercial sat imagery in real-time. Beijing should understand that U.S. concerns at this moment are deadly serious. I expect the U.S. government will do everything in its power to defend its personnel. China should mirror the U.S. suspension of commercial satellite imagery collection over the Middle East. abc.net.au/news/2026-04-0…

Right, so not only has @BowesChay stolen @Andyyyyrrrr hard work, because believe me following these aircraft through various sectors, AND then producing these fantastic graphics isn’t easy. That community note is absolutely incorrect. Not every military aircraft tracks on Flight Radar. What did track was the tanker refuelling it, and you can literally hear the E-3 talking to Seville control.

As US military Aircraft are forced to "fly around" European airspace to Iran- What would those European countries (and NATO Allies") do exactly, if the Americans just flew over them anyway? Think about it.

I’m speechless. I know our guys are really good, and I was hopeful but this was as high stakes as it gets. This will be military lore for 30+ years. You make movies about this stuff & people won’t believe it. WSJ & Washington Post also confirming. Welcome home, friends!

Fox News can confirm that the 2nd crew member of the downed F15E fighter jet has been rescued and he and the members of the rescue team that extracted him from behind enemy lines in Iran are all safely out of Iran. That according to two senior US officials and multiple well placed sources in the region. The Weapons Systems Officer ejected along with the pilot when their F15E Strike Eagle they were flying was struck Thursday night (early Friday local time) in southwest Iran.  The WSO used the SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) training to evade capture, hiding on an elevated ridge after hiking away from the wreckage and putting out an emergency beacon.) US Special Operations rescue forces to include PJs (United States Air Force Pararescuemen (PJs) and many layers of elite rescue forces took part in the complex, layered mission to both find the crew member and also keep the Iranian forces who were hunting the American weapons system operator at bay. There are videos that have appeared from local eyewitnesses that show what appear to have been  injured and dead Iranian members of the IRGC and Basij who were looking for the downed American crew member. Fox has learned there was fighting on the ground but no Americans killed during the operation. “It was a very complex operation to retrieve the downed service member,” a well placed source briefed on the operation told me. Many different branches of the US military were involved in the rescue. Fox News can confirm the A10 Warthog that crashed Friday was involved in providing cover for the rescue teams searching for the pilot. That A10 crashed in Kuwait (first reported by ABC Friday) but the A10 pilot managed to eject safely and was rescued. There was destruction of aircraft which have sensitive equipment on board, I am told, all part of this complex CSAR (Combat Search and Rescue) mission. The F15E was pretty much destroyed on impact. Two rescue helicopters were hit by enemy fire on  Friday and crew members onboard were injured by enemy fire but managed to make it out of Iran. There were a lot of elements to this rescue, I am told.

Why Isfahan Is Iran’s Hardest Nuclear Target | 3D AniDoc by India Today OSINT If Iran’s nuclear programme was already “obliterated” in 2025, why is Isfahan once again at the centre of the U.S. and Israel’s military campaign? This Animation Documentary (AniDoc) by #IndiaToday’s Open Source Intelligence team breaks down the real story behind one of Iran’s most critical—and hardest‑to‑hit—nuclear sites. Through detailed terrain analysis, open-source intelligence, and visual reconstruction, we explain: 🔘Why Isfahan is different from Fordow and Natanz 🔘Why bunker‑buster bombs may not be enough 🔘How enriched uranium may have been moved ahead of earlier strikes 🔘And why the final military option may not be another airstrike—but a ground operation to seize the uranium If you want to understand the war beyond the headlines, this explainer is for you. #Isfahan #IranNuclearProgram #MiddleEastConflict #USIsrael #OSINT

This is not an accurate reading of what these images show (though a very common misunderstanding). These red squares are low-resolution pixel hotspots that have been identified by fire-detection algorithms overlaid on static (often years-old) imagery. The smoke is a normal function of the plant, and this just indicates that abnormal, likely-fire pixels were detected in higher-latency but far-lower-resolution monitoring. Nothing you visually see here is a picture taken from a recent satellite; it is data overlaid on years-old imagery.
Drop Site@DropSiteNews

💢 📸 NEW: Satellite images purport to show fire damage at Kuwait desalination site 🔹 Satellite imagery appears to show burn scars and smoke damage at a coastal power and desalination facility in Kuwait, consistent with NASA FIRMS fire detections recorded on March 29. 🔹 The layout and coastal position match the Doha West power and water complex, Kuwait’s largest such facility, producing about 2,400 MW of electricity and roughly 110 million gallons of water per day, nearly 40% of national desalinated supply. 🔹 Kuwait relies on desalination for around 90% of its drinking water. The damage is concentrated in the central generation area, with visible scorching across multiple units and heat signatures extending toward nearby storage infrastructure. 🔹 Kuwait has not named the site. But, Qatar, condemning the strikes, said this morning that Iranian attacks “targeted a power station and a water desalination plant” in Kuwait.
