@Brett_A_Taylor The still shot of Aramis getting to home plate with Soriano jumping spread eagle is one of the best pics in Cubs history. Second only to 2016 celebration
@CBBheadquarters I’d replace UConn vs Duke with High Point vs Arkansas. The UConn/Duke game was not that good until the last 3 seconds. Tons of turnovers by Duke, horrible shooting by UConn
Top 5 March Madness games so far:
1. UConn vs Duke
2. Nebraska vs Vanderbilt
3. Kentucky vs Santa Clara
4. VCU vs North Carolina
5. High Point vs Wisconsin
What other games did it for you?
@CBKReport It was certainly a great turnaround, but since Michigan is historically a top 10-15 program, it loses some of the pop. If he did this at Minnesota, Northwestern, or Nebraska it would be a much bigger deal
We knew Dusty May was a wagon after he took FAU to their first ever Final 4 in 2023, but I don’t think anybody expected a turnaround as good and as FAST as this.
- 2023: 18-16 (11-9 Conference)
- 2024: 8-24 (3-17 Conference)
• Dusty May hired:
- 2025: 27-10 (14-6 Conference)
Big Ten Tournament Title 🏆
Sweet 16 Appearance
Tied for the biggest one year turnaround in NCAA Basketball history.
- 2026: 35-3 (19-1 Conference)
Big Ten Title (outright) 🏆
*Final 4 Appearance*
He’s only 49, too. The B1G will be in HELL for 20+ years.
@kohanimknows4@GoodmanHoops Wasn’t there about 15 seconds left? I don’t recall for sure, but wasn’t the errant pass from Fred Brown to Worthy after that?
WHERE DOES BRAYLON MULLINS BUZZER-BEATER STAND AMONG THE TOURNEY ALL-TIMERS?
Gotta be top 10
- Villanova’s Kris Jenkins shot to win the 2016 national title
- Duke’s Christian Laettner in 1992 vs. UK in Elite Eight
- Gonzaga’s Jalen Suggs to beat UCLA in 2021 Final Four
- San Diego State’s Lamont Butler to beat FAU in 2023 in Final Four
- Braylon Mullins in to beat Duke in 2026 Elite Eight
- UNC’s Luke Maye to beat Kentucky in 2017 Elite Eight
- Duke’s Christian Laettner to beat UConn in 1990 Elite Eight
- NC State’s Lorenzo Charles dunk to win the 1983 national title
- Valpo’s Bryce Drew to upset Ole Miss in 1998 first round

Illinois… Path to the Final Four:
• 14-seed Penn
• 11-seed VCU
• 2-seed Houston
• 9-seed Iowa
UConn… Path to the Final Four:
• 15-seed Furman
• 7-seed UCLA
• 3-seed Michigan State
• 1-seed Duke
Not all paths are created equal.
Don't be surprised if we get the game of the tournament in Arizona vs Michigan as the 6:09 pm ET Final Four opener.
If Duke wins today, CBS may opt for Duke in the primetime 8:49pm ET main event slot vs Illinois due to superior draw power.
Indiana.
I hope you understand how insane of a sports run you are currently on.
Purdue 2024 Championship Game
Pacers 2025 Finals
Indiana 2026 CFB Championship
Purdue 2026 Elite Eight+
Haliburton, Clark, Smith, Mendoza
Enjoy every moment.
I was off by like $40 million on my guess so I think that means I’m calling it an overpay. But he’s a 6-war player and I think $23M is about what he would get in free agency. But I agree it’s a lot of money for limited slug no matter how good you are at everything else. To be fair there’s $120M coming off the books between this year and next
This is going to sound like oh it’s just KenWo hating on the cubs again… which it is. Fuck em. But taking ALL bias out of it… no team on earth would’ve come close to paying Hoerner that. In fact the only 2nd baseman worth that right now in mlb is Ketel Marte. @CarlsBeef
@espnVshow@AnkonySam We lost a state tournament game because the scoring team kept getting the ball out of the net & throwing it to the official before we could start our secondary break. Official never game them warning or T even after we objected.
When basket is scored, clock is running and opposing player throws ball to ref (who doesn't need to handle it) just to steal a few seconds of clock run off, or setup press offense, officials should be allowed to just let ball go, and start 5 second count.
That'll stop that shit.
@AnkonySam I'm not talking about the scoring team. That is the rule, as you know. They get delay of game warning, and then a T. I'm talking about the team scored on. They do this frequently and there is no deterrent.
@espnVshow I agree with that too. But guys on the scoring team have been doing it all tourney. Guy on Virginia vs TN picked it up twice, stuck it in the TN guys stomach and then pressed against him so the ball wouldn’t fall and he had to immediately inbound because the 5 sec was ticking
