Need some help thinking this through. We’ve got a few SaaS tools that were built years back using Mantine DS. UI standards have moved on since then, so now we’re planning to refresh these products to be more in line with how modern SaaS looks and feels today. A few directions we’re exploring right now: Shadcn → evolve the existing DS by refactoring it on top of Shadcn Align UI → migrate the tools to Align for a cleaner, more SaaS-ready system Custom DS → go all-in and build our own design system from scratch Each path has its own trade-offs around effort, flexibility, and long-term maintenance. If you’ve done something similar before, how did you approach it? Would love to hear different perspectives.
