Crushing news today from @cwyjcm, an organization that helped shape me into the human I am today. 50 years of history vanishing before our eyes. Incredible loss for youth everywhere. Any CWY alumni mourning with me? I was Québec - Burkina, 2005-2006.

1/2 Proud moment for @SindhGovt1 to be the first province in #Pakistan to pass the #FoodFortificationBill2020 making fortification of wheat flour & edible oil mandatory. This legislation will play a vital role in addressing micronutrient deficiencies & combating malnutrition.

Can we stop calling them vaccine passports, call them immunization records, and point out that we all already have them? None of this is new 🤦🏼‍♀️

For nearly 30 years, @NutritionIntl, based in 🇨🇦, has provided 10+ billion capsules of #vitaminA for children under 5. This low-cost intervention protects them from preventable diseases and blindness in countries with high levels of vitamin A deficiency. bit.ly/2Sco4V8

Good points @nutritionwin - agreed! To end malnutrition we also need a much more intentional focus on women, adolescent, and child nutrition too.

Ending #malnutrition by 2030 requires the world to prioritize these 3 areas: 1. Integrating #nutrition into Universal Health Coverage🏥 2. Transforming food systems to support people and the planet🍎 3. Addressing malnutrition in conflict settings🚨 & supporting resiliency🦠

We fund what we value - #Budget2021 shows that Canada values care, fairness, and compassion for one another. More of this spirit is needed for the world too. Investments in global health & #nutrition are critical - for a better world and a safer Canada bit.ly/3sCne0t

“This is the right time to build capacity of teachers on adolescent nutrition.” shared Dr Syed Golam Faruk, MoEdu, #Bangladesh at a recent meeting hosted by @NutritionIntl. Govt expressed need for an online platform to reach adolescents with health & nutrition information.
