@StandWithUsCA A disgusting act of hatred and intimidation by people who support a hateful and violent cause from the ME. It now pollutes politics in Western countries, like Canada, where people were once said to be the nicest in the world. Not anymore, apparently.

In an appalling act of hate, the Israeli delegation we are hosting had expired milk thrown at them while tabling at Toronto Metropolitan University with StandWithUs Canada and @ssi_tmu. Their table, titled “Ask Me Anything,” was created to invite open dialogue and thoughtful questions about their lives in Israel. Instead of respectful engagement, though, they were met with a hostile act that silences conversation rather than encouraging it. This cowardly attempt to desecrate a Jewish-held space is, sadly, not new in our country and was an unfortunate way to kick off our delegation’s visits to Canadian campuses. A police report has been filed, and we expect the City of Toronto to take this matter seriously and ensure those responsible are held accountable.
