Yay! Congrats to @fernandamedian on this new study showing that warning labels help reduce- but don’t eliminate- the misleading effects of nutrition claims on unhealthy foods. Policy lesson: warning label policies need to consider nutrition claims too.

Hot off the presses! In Colombia, nutrient warnings help consumers identify sugary drinks and unhealthy foods and discourage their intake, and--spoiler alert-- octagon-shaped warnings (like Chile, Peru, and Mexico) perform best. mdpi.com/2072-6643/12/1…
